Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the appsg.ai platform (the "Service") and the AI agents you build and deploy with it. It is part of the Terms of Service. You are responsible for your own conduct and for the content, configuration and behaviour of the agents you deploy, including their use by your workspace users and end-customers.

1. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use the Service, or configure an agent, to create, store, transmit or facilitate any of the following:

  • Unlawful content or activity — anything that violates Singapore law or the law applicable to you or your end-customers, including fraud, money laundering, or the sale of illegal goods or services.
  • Unsolicited marketing / spam — sending marketing messages without the consent or other lawful basis required under the PDPA (including its Do Not Call provisions) and the Spam Control Act. You must honour opt-outs, include required sender information, and not send bulk unsolicited commercial messages over WhatsApp, Telegram, email or any connected channel.
  • Harassment and harmful content — content that harasses, threatens, defames, or promotes violence, self-harm, or hatred against individuals or groups.
  • Sexual content involving minors or any child sexual abuse material — strictly prohibited and reported to authorities as required by law.
  • Intellectual-property infringement — content that infringes copyright, trademarks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights.
  • Sensitive-data misuse — collecting or processing personal data without a lawful basis, or using the Service to profile or target individuals unlawfully.
  • Malware and abuse — distributing malware, phishing, or content designed to deceive or defraud.

2. Security and platform integrity

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other tenants' workspaces, or any data that is not yours, or attempt to breach tenant isolation;
  • Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or circumvent authentication, rate limits, quotas or billing controls, except under a security-testing arrangement we authorise in writing;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service (for example through denial-of-service activity);
  • Reverse engineer the Service except to the extent permitted by law, or use it to build a competing service;
  • Attempt to extract, manipulate or "jailbreak" the underlying AI models to bypass this AUP or the AI providers' own use policies.

3. Responsible AI use and disclosure

  • Do not deceive. You must not use AI agents to impersonate a real person or organisation, or to mislead people into believing they are interacting with a human when they are not. Where required by law or good practice, disclose that an end-customer is interacting with an automated AI agent.
  • Supervise your agents. You are responsible for reviewing and supervising agent behaviour and outputs. Do not deploy agents to give regulated advice (legal, medical, financial) without appropriate human oversight and disclaimers.
  • Respect the AI providers' policies. Your use must also comply with the usage policies of the underlying AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI and Google).

4. Fair use of resources

You must use the Service within the capacity, token and usage limits of your plan and must not attempt to evade metering or share access in a way that circumvents plan limits. Automated or high-volume use must stay within documented limits.

5. Consequences of violation

If we reasonably believe your use violates this AUP, we may, with or without notice depending on severity: remove or disable offending content or agents; throttle, suspend or terminate access to affected features or your account; and, where required, report the matter to the relevant authorities. We will aim to give notice and an opportunity to remedy where practical, but may act immediately to protect the Service, other tenants, end-customers or third parties, or to comply with law. Suspension or termination for AUP breach does not entitle you to a refund. See the Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Reporting

To report a suspected violation of this AUP, contact us at dpo@appsg.ai or through the details in our Privacy Policy.

appsg.ai

The private AI workforce and automation platform for Singapore businesses. Hire an AI worker, give it a job description and your own documents, and put it on the channels your customers already use. It answers with sources, runs on a schedule or a trigger when you want the work started without being asked, and holds anything sensitive until a person signs it off.

Private means what it says. What you upload answers your own questions and nothing else, and none of it is ever used to train an AI model.

Built and run in Singapore.
